Sunil Lahiri said during an interview with E Times, ‘It is not necessary that you are called every time. If I had been invited, I would have definitely gone. It would have been nice if I had been invited. I too would have had a chance to be a part of history, but never mind. There is nothing to be worried about.
‘Maybe he doesn’t like me’
After this, Sunil Lahiri expressed surprise that even the makers of ‘Ramayana’ have not been invited. He said, ‘Maybe they feel that Laxman’s character is not that important or they don’t like me personally. I was with Prem Sagar, but he was also not invited. I find it strange that he did not invite any of the makers of Ramayana.
Committee’s personal decision
He further said, ‘It is the committee’s own personal decision whether to invite someone and who not. I heard that 7000 guests and 3000 VIPs have been invited. So I think they should have also invited those who are associated with the Ramayana show, especially the lead actors and producers.
